Eva Mae Babrick
December 24, 1929 - November 2, 2019

Eva Mae Babrick, age 89, of Washington, went to heavenly home on Saturday Evening, November 2, 2019, at Emerald Place.


She was born on December 24, 1929 in Loogootee to Paris and Marguerite (Livers) Cannon. She graduated from St John High School in 1948 and was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church.


She is survived by six sons, Jerry (Brenda) Babrick and  William ‘Bill’ (Beth) Babrick both of Washington, Fred (Teresa) Babrick of Effingham, Illinois, Larry Babrick of Warsaw, Alan (Linda) Babrick and Rodney (Jamey) Babrick both of Washington; two sisters, Mary Sue Sterling of Loogootee and Nancy Hayes of Mooresville; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Joe Babrick ; three brothers, Bob Cannon, Joe Cannon, and Johnny Cannon; six sisters, Eleanor Haller, Doris Rising, Dorothy Taylor, Jenny Strange, Margie Flinn and Lucille Mramor.


A mass of Christian Burial will celebrated at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father Paul Ferguson as celebrant. Burial will follow in St John Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon till 1:45 PM at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church.
