William Joseph “B.J.” Bingham age 61 of North Vernon passed away Monday, July 13, 2020 at his home after battling cancer since January.
B.J. was born January 25, 1959 in Washington to William A. and Margaret M. (Williams) Bingham. B.J. graduated from Washington High School in 1977. He moved to Texas for 20 years and came back to Indiana and married Karen Jo (Cox) Bingham. He enjoyed playing Bingo and Skip Bo with his family and playing lottery. But his favorite thing to do was ride around in his golf cart enjoying nature and decorating his yard.
B.J. is survived by two daughters Karla (James) Collins of Indianapolis and Nicole “Nicki”(Luke) Cox of Vincennes; brother Richard Bingham of North Vernon; three sisters Darlene (Richard) Bingham Brown of Burn City, Leota (Christopher) Bingham Havens of Ogdensburg, NY and Paula Bingham Coryell of North Vernon and six grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Karen Jo Bingham who died September 17, 2011; his parents; brother David Bingham; two sisters Carol Bingham and Maryanne Bingham; brother in law Douglas Coryell and two nephews RJ Brown and Grady Eugene Brown.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be Friday, July 17, 2020 at Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel at 1:00 pm with Father Paul Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery.
