William Quilliam

William 'Bill' Quilliam age 73 of Washington passed away at 3:45 am Friday at his residences. He was born on March 16,1933 in Washington to the late Ralph W. and Marie (Chappell) Quilliam. He was a Washington High School graduate and a Vincennes University Graduate. He retired in 1990 as owner and operater the Red Onion Restaurant in Petersburg. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. Bill wrote an article for the Washington Times-Herald named Sharing Outdoors with Bill for many years. Bill is survived by his wife Doris (Everly) Quilliam whom he married on December 6,1974. Also surviving is one son; William Clayton Quilliam of Bradenton, Florida, one step daughter and her husband; Angie and Robert Loudermilk of Washington, three step grandchildren; Crystal Thompson, Nicholas Healy, and Joshua Christmas all of Washington, and two step great granddaughters; Abby Thompson, and Ally Thompson both of Washington . Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Petersburg, with Brothers Johnathan Ingram and Ben Ray Bean. officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery with Military rites by the Washington American Legion and VFW. Visitation will be 4 to 8 PM on Sunday at the Ed Lee Mortuary.
