"Mary & family, I am so sorry to hear of John's death. Losing a brother is so hard, and losing both John and Joe in a short time is very heart-breaking. (By the way, I still believe you were the prettiest and nicest of our Homecoming Queens!)
I knew Joe very well and spent a lot of time with him and friends before I moved to St Paul.
I met John when I visited Joe in Barron. I remember sitting around the sauerkraut crock in the corner of the living room, digging in with forks and drinking a nice cold beer! While I worked at Jerome foods in Faribault, I once sent John a special "Merry Christmas" addressed to him on a combo bin of turkeys delivered to his plant for further processing! I guess the whole crew over there got a laugh about that.
Again, sorry for your losses, but remember the good times, and our loved ones never die. (I have lost three of my five brothers, too.)
Phoebe (Sorem) McNeill"

"I am sorry to hear about John's passing. I know it is a difficult time and understand how close you all were to him. I know Gaven especially loved his grandpa so much. Thoughts and prayers for the family."

"I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. I haven't seen him in many years but I do remember his stories and making everyone around him smile. He gave my husband and I a large poultry knife gosh probably 30 years ago, and we still have it! We were so proud of it then and now... I will keep all my Lewandowski cousins in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless - June"
