Anna Mae Miller Williams age 82 of Washington passed away on Wednesday at 6:00 Am at her residence. She was born on October 28,1923 in Washington to the late Jacob and Martha Ellen (Miles) Miller. She was a 1941 Graduate of Washington Catholic High School and a 1974 graduate of Vincennes University received a degree as a LPN and was valedictorian of her class. She first married William Wesley Miller on June 5,1943 and he preceded her in death on August 31,1986, she then married Walter Garold Williams on October 1,1989 and her preceded her in death on May 24,2002. She was a member and volunteer for St. Vincent DePaul Society. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Loving and Sharing Bereavement Group. She loved gardening and spending time with her cats, Luke and Spot. Surviving are 1 son and daughter in-law; Joseph and Becky Miller of North Carolina, six daughters and sons in-law; Susan Miller of Washington, Melissa Moore of Washington, Karen and Bret Ridgeway of Terre Haute, Christina Miller of North Carolina, Mary Alice Fitzgerald of Florida, and Lea and Joe Salter of Bicknell, one Step son and step daughter in-law; Gary and Roberta Williams of Loogootee, one sister and brother in-law; Liz and George Nolan of Montgomery, 18 grandchildren,3 step-grandchildren,27 Great grandchildren, and five step-great grandchildren. Besides her 2 husbands she was preceded in death by her parents; Jacob Miller and Martha Ellen Smith, one daughter; Ruth Ann Owen, one grandson ; James Marshall Wilkerson, and two brothers; Joseph Dale Miller and Robert Francis Miller. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Gordon Mann as celebrant. Burial will be in Bicknell Memorial Cemetery in Bicknell. Visitation will be on Friday from 4 to 8 PM with a wake service at 4:00 PM at Ed Lee Mortuary. Condolences may be made online at www.edleemortuary.com
