Donald E. Belcher
May 1, 1933 - February 18, 2009

Donald E. Belcher age 75 of Washington passed away Wednesday morning at his residence. Born May 1, 1933 in Washington he was the son of Roy Nathan and Mary Frances (Wilson) Belcher. He attended Washington Catholic Schools and was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife Lois Mae (Emmons) Belcher whom he married March 24, 1951; two daughters and sons in-law, Charlotte and Dan Fox of Joelton, Tennessee, and Anita Louise and Rick Martindale of Washington; three sons and daughter in-law, Kenneth Eugene Belcher of Evansville, Michael Don and Shawna Belcher of Jasper, and Brian Todd Belcher of Washington; three sisters Phyllis Sorrell and Lenora Emmons both of New Castle and Louise La Force of Florida; thirteen grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister Anna Mae Smeltzer; and one brother, James Leroy Belcher. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Ed Lee Mortuary with Pastor William Pentecost officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
