John Christopher “Chris” Grannan, age 61, of Washington passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Daviess Community Hospital.
Chris was born on September 14, 1958 in Washington to Bernard “Doc” Grannan and Mary Jacqueline (Fridrich) Grannan. He attended Washington High School. Chris had worked at Solar Sources and then owned and operated Woody’s Bar and Grill for several years.
He is survived by his mother Jackie Grannan of Washington; brothers Bernard F. “Rick” Grannan of Washington, Paul T. Grannan of Florida and Gerald “Jerry” (Christine) Grannan of Ft Wayne and a sister Mary Beth (Michael) Lancaster of Sterling, IL and four nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father Bernard “Doc” Grannan.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father Paul Ferguson as celebrant.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, February 1st at the church. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. A reception in his honor will follow at Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel, 620 E. Viola Ave, Washington, IN.
