Debra K. Healy, age 60, of Washington, passed away November 29, 2015 at her residence. She was born April 27, 1955 in Jasper to Murele (Neukam) and Kenneth Ahrens. She was a Jasper High School 1974 graduate. She loved sewing and loved writing letters. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. She is survived by husband, James E. Healy whom she married June 30, 1979, her mother, one son, James (Julie) S. Healy of Washington, one daughter Joetta Healy of Washington, brothers; Kenny Ahrens of Missouri, Mitch Ahrens of Jasper, Tony (Christy) Ahrens of Jasper, Keith (Pam) Ahrens of Jasper, Nathan Ahrens of Ohio Tommy Ahrens of Jasper, two sisters; Renee Goepferich of Holland, Brenda (Harold) Hess of Cannelton, four grandchildren; William Wright, Conner Healy, Mariah Healy, and Amelia Healy. She was preceded in death by her father. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Hope Catholic church with Father Gordon Mann as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. on Thursday morning at Ed Lee Mortuary.
