Margaret R. Grannan age 85 of Washington passed away on Saturday at 7:17 AM at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. She was born on September 25, 1921 in Plainville to the late Harley T. and Leora (Warren) Bowman. She was a 1939 graduate of Wheatland High School. She married Roy V. Grannan on May 20, 1946 and he preceded her in death on June 25, 1975. She is survived by two daughters, Becky Sue Lawson of Indianapolis and Karita Jo Ray of Terre Haute; two sons, Richard V. Grannan of Carlisle and Dan A. Grannan of Cincinnati Ohio; 8 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren; and three foster children Bontye Wears, Shirley Barnett and Jean McKee. She was preceded in death by her husband and four brothers. Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at Ed Lee Mortuary in Washington with Bro. Fred Leydet officiating.
