Kathleen C. Drake, age 50, of Washington passed away Sunday at the home of a friend. She was born January 23, 1960 in Camden, New Jersey to Joseph and Theresa (Erb) Sturgis. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Loogootee and had worked for Professional Transportation Inc. as a driver. She is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Rose Drake of Washington; one son, David Vincent Drake of Washington; one step son, Billy Wollard of Phoenix, Arizona; her father Joseph Sturgis of Washington; four grandchildren , Yasmin Searl, Tyson Searl, Daisy Drake, and Jackson Drake all of Washington; one sister, Mary Sturgis of Elnora; and one brother, Joseph Sturgis of Elnora. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John Catholic Church in Loogootee with Father Joseph Erbacher as celebrant. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
