age 42 of Washington passed away at 1:19 PM on Monday at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville. He was born on March 18, 1965 in Washington to Glen L. and Eileen (Mangin) Durnil. He was a graduate of Washington Catholic High School. He owned and operated Durnil Pest Control, Premier Cellular and Satellite, and Durnil Property, LLC. He was a member of St. Simon Catholic Church were he was serving on the Building Committee, Indiana Pest Management Association were he was past president, Illinois Pest Management Association, National Pest Management Association, The Center for Urban and Industrial Pest Management, Southwestern Indiana Bass Club, Washington Knights of Columbus, Washington Conservation Club, Daviess County Chamber of Commerce, and the Better Business Bureau. Surviving are his wife. Dee (Helderman) Durnil whom he married on October 20,2001; two daughters, Caitlin Leigh Durnil and Kaylee Jo Durnil both of Washington; two sons, Chris Durnil and Jacob Lee Durnil both of Washington; his mother, Eileen Durnil of Washington; and two brothers and sisters in-law, Jerry and Debbie Durnil of Washington, and Michael and Jill Durnil of Vincennes. He was preceded in death by his father, Glen L. Durnil on October 1, 1977. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday at St. Simon Catholic Church with Father Gordon Mann as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM at St. Simon Catholic Church. with a Christian Wake Service at 4 PM Memorial donations may be made to Catholic Community of Washington Building Fund. Ed Lee mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
