Dawyne L. Willens, age 63 of Washington passed away December 30, 2014 at 12:55 p.m. at Jasper Memorial Hospital. He was born June 30, 1951 to Theresa (Lanham) and Harvey L. Willens. Dawyne was a US Marine Corp Veteran of the Vietnam War. He loved motorcycles, camping and spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife; Carolyn (Ivy) whom he married April 7, 2011, a son; Barry Willens of Padron, Kentucky, two daughters; Dawn M. Padron and Dawn L. Berry both of Louisville, Kentucky, a sister; Stephanie (Gary) Render of Coneyville, Kentucky, step-son; Bob (Barb) Knepp of Washington, and a step-daughter, Tracy (William E) Wiseman of Washington, four grandchildren; Dawson Padron, Savanna Padron, Briannna Berry, and Emily Berry, 14 step-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and 17 step-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother; Raymond Lang. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Gilead Cemetery with Pastor Jason Johnston and Pastor Lucia Jones officiating. Burial to follow in Mt. Gilead Cemetery with full military rites performed by the Washington American Legion and VFW.
