Frances Regina Miller
March 25, 1925 - October 31, 2009

Frances Regina "Jean" Miller, age 84, of Cannelburg, passed away on Saturday at Martin County Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Loogootee. She was born on March 25, 1925 in Daviess County to William and Agnes (Haag) Seal. She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church. She loved her yard and garden, and paid special attention to her flowers. Fishing was her favorite sport. She loved long drives in the county looking at God's beautiful creations. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Durward Miller of Cannelburg, whom she married on October 13, 1945. She is also survived by two daughters, Sandi Lengacher of Fort Wayne and Carol Hedrick (Dave) of Loogootee; two sons, Larry Miller (Anne) of Kokomo and David Miller (Bob Daniels) of Zionsville); two sisters, Margie Arvin (Norman) of Loogootee and Mary Ruth Walker (Ambrose) of Washington; two brothers, Harold Seal (Mary) of Cannelburg and Dwight Seal (Donna) of Dubois; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant son, William Miller; and one grandson, Donald Lengacher. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday at All Saints Catholic Church with Father James Koressel as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Tuesday at All Saints Catholic Church in Cannelburg.
