Cheryl M. Pride, 51, passed away at her home on Sunday, June 18, 2017. She was born in Washington on July 1, 1965 to James and Carolyn (McDonald) Mangin. She graduated from Washington High School in 1983, Lockyear Business College as a Medical Assistant and Vincennes University with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing. She had worked for Dr. Emeret and Dr. Stroud. She was a member of Bethany Christian Church and the Indiana State Nurses Association.
She is survived by her husband, Troy Pride, whom she married July 29, 1989; parents; daughter, Tori Pride of Washington; son, William Pride of Washington; sister, Brenda (Chris) Hurt of Washington; several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Ruth Ann Pride of Odon.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sylvia and Bill McDonald and Albert and Eileen Mangin.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday at Bethany Christian Church with Bro Even Nave and Bro Steve Dayton officiating. Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday at Bethany Christian Church.
Memorial donations may be given to the family for their children's College Education.
