Paul Logan Green
February 9, 1925 - February 9, 2008

Paul Logan Green, 83, of Washington went to be with the Lord at 12:08 a.m. Saturday at his residence. Born January 17, 1925 in Daviess County, he was the son of Harley and Leah (Buher) Green. He graduated from Elmore Township High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Washington. He served as a radio operator in the Navy during World War II, worked for the New York Central Railroad as telegraph operator and freight agent, later for McDonald Douglas in California, and retired from Bristol Myers. Surviving is his wife, K. Joyce (Hannah) Green, whom he married August 26, 1947; a daughter, Carol Sue Green of Washington; a son and daughter in-law, David Mark and Leslie Green of Petersburg; one sister, Judith Jarmolowotz, of Thompson, Connecticut; two grandsons, Matthew Logan Green and Michael David Green both of Petersburg. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Harold Green; and three sisters, Mildred Gilliland, Marilyn Auger, and Jewel Golin. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery in Elnora with Pastor Tim Baxter and Pastor Bill Malott and full military graveside rites will be conducted by the Washington American Legion and Veterans of Foreign War. After services at the cemetery the family will receive quest at the family home in Washington. The family request that memorial donations be sent to the Good Samaritan Hospice at 520 South 7th Street Vincennes, Indiana 47591 There will be no visitation.
