Helen Margaret Dages, 88, died Wednesday, July 23, 2014. She was born November 3, 1925 in Montgomery to John and Mary (Westhafer) Kennedy. Helen married Paul James Dages June 10, 1950. She graduated from Montgomery High School in 1943 and furthered her education graduating from St. Vincent''s school of Nursing in 1946. She began her nursing career in Indianapolis then Daviess County Hospital and then worked for Dr. Lett in Loogootee for 30 years, retiring in 1982. Helen is survived by one sister, Carolyn T. Dages, Montgomery. She has several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents, husband and siblings Betty Kenney, Alice Kennedy, John F. Kennedy, Marian L. Vollmer, and William M. Kennedy. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Barr-Reeve Scholarship Foundation, P.O. Box 25, Montgomery, IN 47558 Funeral will be Friday, July 25 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter''s Catholic Church, Montgomery. Visitation will be on Friday Morning from 9:15 - 10:15 prior to service at St. Peter''s. Burial will follow in the St. Peter Cemetery.
