Anthony "Tony" F. Hollander, 76 of Cannelburg, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, August 16, 2015. He was born July 30, 1939 in Ferdinand, Indiana to Henry and Mary (Whipking) Hollander. He attended and graduated from Montgomery High School. He was a farmer who owned and operated a hog operation, a coalminer and he owned and operated Hoosier Heavy Equipment. Tony loved to fish and hunt. He was also a member of All Saints Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Billie Jo (Thompson) Hollander, whom he married March 15, 1958, daughters; Debra (John Pat) Hart, Karen (Richard) Dye all of Cannelburg, brothers; Henry "Hank" (Chloe) Hollander of Fort Branch, Tom (Sue) Schultheis of Washington, Jerry (Betty) Schultheis of Cannelburg and Joseph "Bud" Schultheis of Panama City, Florida, sisters; Joyce (Grandville) Holland of Comminski, Lois (Joe) Schnarr, Carolyn (Lonnie) Allen, and Mary Harder all of Washington, grandchildren; Alisa (Stephen) Sargeant of San Antonio, TX, Anthony (Liz) Hart of Newport, Kentucky, great-grandson, James Hart and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Hollander, mother, Mary Hollander Schultheis, step-father, Joseph Schultheis, daughter, Toni Kaye Hollander, and sister and brother-in-law, Hettie and Bob Wolfe. A mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church in Whitfield with Father Kenneth Walker officiating. Burial following in St. Martin cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday at All Saints Catholic Church in Cannelburg from 4 - 8 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 88-541, Chicago, IL 60680-1541 in Tony''s name.
