Linda Gail Morningstar, age 75, passed away on August 27, 2020 surrounded by family in Ocala, Florida. Linda was born in Anniston, Alabama and in high school moved to Ocala. That is where she met her husband Dennis Morningstar of South Bend, Indiana. Linda lived a life that exemplified her name and in doing so left a legacy for all that knew and loved her. Everyone who encountered her knew how special she was. She will be remembered for her unconditional love, her gentle spirit, her forgiving nature, her inner strength her unwavering faith, and her insurmountable love for her grandchildren Carter and Chloe . She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis Morningstar, Mother, Dorene Hodges, Father, Edward Leon Scott, Sr.. Linda is survived by her son, Scott Morningstar. A graveside service will be held at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens on September 4, 2020 at 10am. Arrangements are being handled by Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens and Roberts of Ocala Funerals & Cremations, Ocala, Florida. Contributions in honor of her memory may be made to Hospice of Marion County or Humane Society of Marion County.
