"Ted came into my life when I was just a lost boy attending northeast elementary. He came in as my big brother/mentor and showed me compassion and strength and helped guide me through some rough times. He always saw something in me and showed me to see more in myself. He would always see how I was doing and check on me and the family every time our paths crossed. You could see the genuine care in his eyes every time we talked and always had to make sure I knew how proud of me he was. He was truly one of a kind, and my first true friend. God bless you Ted and thank you for everything. Rest easy good buddy."

"Ted came into my life when I was a youngster at northeast elementary, and was my big brother. He saw something in me at a young age, and gave me a lot of guidance and helped me see the potential I had in myself. Even now in my 30s he would always stop and check in me and chat whenever I our paths would cross. Thank you for everything Ted. Rest easy my friend!"
