"I met Doc my freshman year at UIU, and have so many fond memories of him. The one that stands out the most is in May of 1973, when Melanie, my roomie, and I were packing up to go home for the summer. We had the song "See You In September," blasting out the windows, when Doc showed up and belted out that song like he was onstage!! I played that one for you today, Doc! Your gentle spirit will live on and you will always be in my heart! Nanci LaSusa Meyer UIU 76"
