"I have not heard from your mom for a long time and sent her an email not too long ago that she did not respond to. Today I remembered it was her birthday so I searched and found this. Your parents and I were long time friends from Normandy and we enjoyed watching our children grow up together. We were active at Jefferson School. We attended Bible Study together and grew in our faith and supported each other. Even after they moved to Georgia, we kept in touch. I will miss the funny jokes she used to send me. She owns a piece of my heart and I will always remember her. Happy birthday in heaven Karin."
