James Howard Graham, 71, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City after a long and courageous battle .
James was born, November 5, 1948, in Oelwein, to Wayne E and Betty J (Falck) Graham. He was a graduate of Starmont High School and received his technical certification in Farm Mechanics from Northeast Iowa Community College, Calmar. James was united in marriage to Betty R. Zuercher on January 21, 1977. Together they had two children and raised their family in the Manchester area. James and Betty divorced later in life.
James loved to fish his whole life. He was always on the move taking a walk through town or taking road trips to the surrounding communities. He enjoyed spending time with friends as he made friends everywhere he went.
Survivors include one son Matthew & wife Kimberly Graham along with their three children Lily, Damian and Xander Graham of Round Rock, TX. One daughter Twyla Graham of Lago Vista, TX.
James was preceded in death by his parents.
James's family would like to thank the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics for all of their excellent care.
Deceased's Funeral Arrangements Celebrate Life Iowa is humbly performing the cremation. To honor James' life, a private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
