Melvin Miller
October 1, 1953 - July 10, 2020

Melvin C. Miller, 66 years, of Neola, entered into rest on July 10, 2020. He was born in Omaha, Nebr., on October 1, 1953 to Carol Pruett and the late Melvin Dunblazier. He was married to the late Vicky Gross in 1975, they had 3 children and 13 grandkids. Later he was remarried to Tanya Henderson in August 2006, they had one child together.

He worked for the railroad for 30 plus years before retiring. He spent the last 6 years with his wife Tanya on a farm in Neola. Chuck was a man of many trades. He could build and fix just about anything. If he did not know how, he would learn to. He loved his family and would lend a helping hand where he could.

He was preceded in death by his father, his maternal grandparents Dwight and Minnie Miller, his Aunt Shirley, Uncle Dwight, and Cousin Dwight.

He is survived by his mother, Carol Pruett. His wife of 13 years, Tanya Miller. Brenda Williams (Dean) of Missouri Valley. Julie Roberts and Laura Hays of Council Bluffs. His stepdaughters Autumn Henderson of Council Bluffs, Ryanne Chenoweth of Persia, and his son Payten Miller of Neola. Many brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, and 13 grandchildren.

Celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. The celebration will be at Grace Community Fellowship 300 E. Erie Missouri Valley, IA with Brad Westercamp officiating. A luncheon will follow at the same location.
