"Memories, growing up in Grand Island. Thank you for taking me under your mama wing and helping me learn to fly. You were a second mother to me and always watched out for me. Shopping for school clothes always pops in my head. Rest in peace sweet Sharon! Love, Georgia"

"My deepest condolences to Sharon's family. I met Sharon in the 7th grade when she entered junior high in the public school. We graduated together from HHS in 1958 and kept in touch through reunions & letters until e-mail made it easier to keep in contact. Sharon & I shared the Christian philosophy regarding how other people should be treated, not the Old Testament mandates. It was a relief to know someone else shared such thoughts. I will miss her cheerful nature, wise comments, and relentless research of the past as well as the big picture on issues. I'll be cheering with her on Nov. 3rd."

"Grandma, Where do I start? There are so many memories that we shared together. I always remember you would pick me up from school when I was younger and you would buy us a snack to eat together, honey mustard and onion flavored pretzel bites will forever be a favorite snack of mine. I will always reminisce in the times we had together, and I will forever cherish the moments I had with you. From Kool Aid Days to all of the holidays we all spent together, Ill miss you, always. I love you much. "

"Here goes Sharon, a couple weeks ago I sent you a Facebook message about Vonmaur and shopping with little kids, I did not know it was going to be the last. So I will leave all our juicy stories just for us. Thanks for always being my friend. I love you and I miss you. I know your going to play with all pets and reminisce with all your family and friends. I told you one time that all we are all adults and make decisions, we got this!!! You RIP and fly high like the Angel you are..."

"Mommy as I would call you when messing around - I miss you already so so much! I know the angels carried you to heaven and granny and grandpa were waiting! I know you were tired and your body was- I keep thinking about all of the little things you would remind me about -the cats are amiss about where crabby grandma is! I wished there would have been some magic wand I could have waved on Thursday night, God had a different plan. I love you and cherish specifically the past almost 14 years! I love you! And on November 3rd I know you will be cheering right along side us! Until we meet again - I will look for signs of my mom! Stop worrying now and rest!"

"Grandma, You always loved to share memories of me and you when I was younger. I remember you taking me out to eat, and we would be so full after the buffet. You would always say lets take dessert to go so we would stuff desserts into napkins and put them in your purse for later. So many memories of holidays, shopping trips, and birthdays together. Fun activities like Kool Aide Days. I know we did not speak or see one and other for years but I want you to know that I love you. You spending time with me as a kid meant so much and I will hold onto those memories forever. Rest In Peace Grandma."
