"I miss Mary Sharon so much. I miss the way she'd say "bye sweetie" to me everytime before hanging up the phone. I loved that she called me that, because that's what my dad called me. I miss her shennagins. I miss how she was always there for me. I miss how easy it was for me to talk to her. I am really grateful for the way she always made me feel like part of the family, she was so kind and had such a beautiful heart. I feel lucky to have known her, and for all of the advice I got from her. I learned so much from her these last 6 years. Mostly though, no matter what, she ALWAYS made me feel loved. I will miss her always."
Jeannie Matthews wrote on May 19, 2020:
"I will miss our morning phone calls where we always started off by saying "Good morning!" to each other in a happy, lilting voice until we had each really felt our spirits perk- we would repeat it over and over until it sounded natural. She'd say "Now come on- you can do better than that! And I would. I will miss her terribly. The world is a lesser place without her in it. I loved my big sister "

"We hung out before phones were such a common thing. And most of the memories I have probably can't be shared here. But we did have a lot of good laughs. Love you Mary. "
