"Our sympathy to the Schutz and Zurovski families. Marcia and I were in the same grade in country school. Our families lived not to far apart and enjoyed being together at school activities. Lorene Jasa Bartos"

"We are so very sorry to hear of this sad news. I have especially fond memories of Marcia, Marilyn and her husband Ron riding out to California on Harleys, stopping by Ventura, and all of us going for a ride...Marcia liked my handlebar-whip...so I sent her one to match her ride...We wish we could be there for our family and cousins during this time of loss and to give you all a giant bear-hug. Know that you and everyone are in our hearts. Mike and Silvia"

"...I was privileged to have Marcia enrolled in several of my art classes at Wayne State College. Early on she demonstrated her above-average skills in each area of art and continued to develop those skills noticeably with each passing year. While soft-spoken and unassuming Marcia's quiet leadership made her an asset to have around...and demonstrated to me she would become an outstanding teacher. ...Through Facebook, we have stayed in touch over the years and it was a treat to hear from her...her words were always carefully chosen. ...I was also privileged to have her sisters, Marilyn and Marlene enrolled in several of my classes and grew to love these ladies as if they were family. I can only imagine the sense of loss they and their families must feel at Marcia's passing. I share those feelings."

"We are so sorry for your loss of Marsha. Bob and I went to Wayne State with both Marsha and Marilyn. She was a sweet, soft spoken classmate and friend. Through the years, Marsha often found me at art fairs to catch up or to ask questions about an art technique as she always enjoyed learning something new. Marilyn, I know her passing will be especially hard on you since you two were the closest sister duo I knew. Again, we are sorry for your loss. Naomi & Bob Keller"

"I was very sorry to hear about Marcia. She and I, Lorene Jasa, Gary Johnson and Zonger Johnson were classmates at District 5. Lots of wonderful memories. I lost track of her after that, but I often wondered what ever became of that quiet girl with the pretty face and the beautiful soul. Rest in peace Marcia. "

"Marcia and I go back to 1980. She taught at South High and was going on leave to have a baby in December. I applied for her position and got it. However, I was going to have a baby in October! As it is urned out Marcia stayed home with her baby and I ended up teaching at South High 23 years. When I retired in 2003 guess who took my job? That's right, Marcia. We have been friends ever since. Marcia was one of the nicest, kindest souls I've ever known. Lol ately we have been showing our art at Rockbrooks Fall Art fair. I will miss her very much and I'm terribly sad to lose my friend ."
