Nancy Grosse, 75, of Council Bluffs, IA, passed away at her home on Monday, August 17, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 21, 2020 at the Salem Lutheran Church in rural Glenwood, IA (50307 Ashton Road Glenwood, IA 51534) with Pastor Nancy Ross-Hullinger officiating. Burial will be in the Plumer Settlement Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Nancy and her family through this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are directed to the family.
Nancy Lee Cooper, daughter of James Lewis and Dorothy Marie (Leiber) Cooper was born on November 11, 1944 in Sioux City, IA.
Nancy married Delbert Grosse on May 8, 1962 in Council Bluffs, IA. The couple was blessed with four children, Kristine, Debra, Stephanie, Alonzo.
Nancy enjoyed going dancing with Delbert and never missed a chance to join the family at the racetrack to watch Alonzo compete. She supported all of her kids and grandkids by never missing their activities or sporting events. Nancy's family was her priority and she will be very dearly missed.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Amanda Hernandez; grandson, Elijah Knoble.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 58 years Delbert Grosse; daughters, Kristine Hernandez and her husband Joe, Debra Grosse, Stephanie Knoble and her husband Michael; son, Alonzo Grosse and his wife Erika; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 5 brothers and 5 sisters; other relatives and a host of friends.
