In loving memory of

Yvette Lavallee
December 24, 1929 - August 6, 2020

Yvette Rita Lavallee, age 90, passed away August 6th at 2:34 PM in Ocala Florida. She was born December 24, 1929, in Pawtucket Rhode Island, to Ovila and Evelina (Rainville) Brunelle. Yvette married the late Robert Thomas Lavallee on September 6, 1947 and together they had 12 children.

Yvette was one of the most dedicated mothers to have walked this earth. Into all of her children, she worked tirelessly to instill the values of faith, family and kindness. She was often considered a surrogate mother to others for her nurturing qualities, and with that, she was rewarded in her life with an abundance of surrounding love.

Her faith was a constant. She prayed everyday for the wellness of others. She also took time to send weekly letters to family and friends always ending with a meaningful Scripture, her special touch of fun stickers, and an abundance of X's and O's.

Her expertise in the kitchen will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of enjoying one of her special dishes (i.e. Chowder and Clamcakes, French meat pies, French crepes, or Dynamites! to name a few).

Yvette is survived by her children: Nancy Lavallee Heffron, Russell Lavallee, Brian Lavallee, John Lavallee, Paul Lavallee, Roy Lavallee, Andrew Lavallee and Rita Lavallee Jackson. She is also survived by 19 Grand Children, 22 Great Grand Children and 4 Great, Great Grand Children.

Yvette is now soaring with the angels, and with her parents, her husband, and her children: Robert Lavallee Jr., Susan Lavallee Jenkins, Gerald Lavallee and Gerard Lavallee, She is also preceded in death by her brothers: Oscar, Rene and Romeo, and her sisters: Beatrice, Pearl, Simone(Sally) and Imelda(Tilly).

In lieu of flowers please take the time to read some of her favorite Scriptures: "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me...But my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Jesus Christ." Phillipians 4:13&19; "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believeth on Him is not condemned, but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God. And this is the condemnation that light is come in to the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil." John 3:16-19. These verses exemplified the life she led. A private celebration of her life will be held with family.

"I was fortunate enough to join the Lavallee family on November, 7 1992. Yvette always treated me like a daughter not an in law. I have very fond memories of holidays, birthdays, cookouts and other family gatherings too numerous to mention. Yvette never stopped loving me and praying for me, and for that I am grateful. I was blessed to have been a part of this living, caring, faithful and amazing woman\'s life. Fly with the angels a rejoice at worshipping Jesus forever!"
