"My uncle Tommy was the best of best uncles little stricter than I would of liked but thats what made him to be a great father figure towards me when I was growing up I remember it like yesturday when he would always do mine and ashleys hair we would walk around with are hair done thinking we were hot shit which we were lol but goodnees if we only new at that age that big poofy crimp hair really did look as bad as it dose today but I dont think we would of cared any how uncle Tommy liked it and it made him happy so we were happy. I love u uncle Tommy u will be mossed and forever loved."

Tom was a loving Son, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.
Tom is preceded in death by father Tom Henry Newman, and Brother Robert "Joe" Newman.
He is survived by Mother Lillian Newman, Son Tom Newman, Daughter's Amanda Newman, and Ashley Morales. Grandchildren, Austin, Nakita, & Devin Newman, Shanette, Brachelly, Shaleimar, Sergio, and Lillian Morales. Sisters: Debbie Newman, Jennifer Chavis, and Vera Suggs. Brothers: Nelson "Buddy " Newman, and Donnie Goins. And many Nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Tom lived a good life surrounded by loving family and friends. He will be greatly missed and loved always.
A celebration of life will be held at Teneroc Picnic Lake August 22nd, 2020 at 12:00pm.
