Joshua "Josh" Lynn Payne, age 34, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2020. Josh was a member of Brookwood Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. Josh was a proud American that loved his guns and everything Ford. He was always true to himself, his family, and his friends. He will be forever remembered and loved by all. Josh is preceded in death by his father, Lynn Payne, and grandparents, Harold and Betty Payne.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Rhonda Sorrells-Laughlin and Bill Laughlin; siblings, Emily Payne (Jesse) Hyder, and Ashley (Alex) Payne; grandparents, Douglas and Remelba Sorrells; nieces and nephews, John Caldwell, Grayson Hyder, Nova Caldwell, and Bentley Payne; along with many other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held Monday, August 10, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA, with Rev. Scott Sorrells, and Rev. Russ Sorrells officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
