In loving memory of

Glen Dellamuth
December 12, 1932 - July 30, 2020

Williamsburg- M. Glen Dellamuth was born December 12, 1932, near Marengo, Iowa, the son of Mervin and Elsie (Rotter) Dellamuth. He attended school in Marengo. Glen served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict from 1953-1955. Glen was united in marriage to Irma Wardenburg on September 8, 1956 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg. He worked for Amana Refrigeration from 1953 and retired in 1994. Glen enjoyed playing cards, gardening, playing music with his family, grilling, going to Hawkeye games and attending his grandchildren's activities. Glen passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020, at UC Health Greeley Hospital in Greeley, Colorado at the age of 87.

He is survived by three children, Brenda Jaynes of Greeley, CO, Mark Dellamuth of Walford and Kaylyn (Steve) Kruger of Estes Park, CO; six grandchildren, Bryson (Annie) Garringer, Lance Garringer, Austin ( Fiancé Kayla) Dellamuth, Madison Dellamuth, Mitchel Dellamuth and Matthew (Cory) Jaynes; 3great grandchildren, Mya, Ava and Cassidy; a grandson in law, Robert Simpson and a brother, Larry (Pat) Dellamuth of Williamsburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Irma, granddaughter Melissa Simpson and two sisters, Lucille Meskimen and Luella Morse.


A Celebration of Life Service will be 10:30 am Friday, August 7, 2020, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery with military rites by the Iburg Poulson VFW Post #8797. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg. A memorial fund has been established for St. Paul Lutheran Church or the Iburg Poulson VFW Post #8797. Messages and tributes may be left at www.powellfuneralhomes.com.
