"Julian, Suzanne and family, Lawrence and family, My entire life is filled with love and memories of Sue. Mother always called her Mattie Sue. Sue is in lots of my baby ( and Julian too) and childhood pictures and was always there for me. She took me to my first time at the Fox in 1962 and I have always loved to return there. Amenda and I would watch American Bandstand with Nancy, Sue, and Barbara. They would pick me up to dance with them! Then she would play ?Long long ago on the piano . All the concerts at Chastain and our trip to Graceland are forever precious to me. Our lives has been blessed because she was part of it. "

"Dear Julian, Suzanne & Family, Lawrence & Family, It is difficult to express how sad we all feel at the loss of our dear cousin, Sue. We remember Sue with much love. As we grew up in the country, spending time with one another, attending church, visiting with Aunt Maggie and Uncle Redger, Sue always stood out with her sweetness, her kindness and her genuine love and friendship for us. We all admired the beautiful, intelligent and classy lady she became and remained throughout her life. She was never pretentious and never forgot where she came from as is evident in the legacy she leaves behind. This world is much less kinder place without her presence. We are indeed regretful, due to Covid 19, we will not be able to attend Sue?s service but want you all to know how much we remember you with much love. Our prayers and thoughts will be with you all. The Family of Aunt Lee Clara and Uncle Furman Tatum (Jack & Family, Sandra & Family, Charles & Family, Deborah & Family and Johnny) "

"Brother Julian: Has been some time sense you and I have shared thoughts about the world along with the manner and method in which we engage and are engaged by it. I now as the first time i ever met you considered you to be an upright and honorable human that stood head and shoulders above those about you with a higher level of integrity. For you on this day I pray for you as David prayed for himself \" God create in me a clean heart, A right body, soul and spirit \" and for the balance of your days may you be safe, blessed and made whole along with all for whom you pray and you journey upon the earth."

"Prayers and deepest condolences for Sue?s family. Cousin Sue was always considered the ?smart cousin?. One of my nephews became a helicopter pilot and I always bragged to him about my cousin who helped Lockheed develop the Blackhawk. Though time and distance kept us apart; I still am so proud of her."

"Julian, Suzanne and family, Lawrence and family, Though I know each of you are hurting and this world will be lonelier knowing sweet Mattie Sue has gone from us, today July 30 is her liberation day! Her soul has soared up to God and she is making Heaven an even more wonderful, beautiful place. She\'s in the arms of our loved ones who have already gone before us, and to where some day we will all be reunited."
