Cole A. Reeves, 69, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at his Fairmount, Indiana home.
Cole was born on September 20, 1949 in Marion, Indiana, son of the late Donald E. and Elinor Irene (Gaddis) Reeves. Cole graduated from Fairmount High School and was a retired sprinkler fitter forShambaugh Son.
Cole is survived by his wife of 31 years, Jo Reeves; two daughters,Mellissa(Scott) Carpenter and Angie (Scott)Shugart. twosons;Shane (Susan)Rossmanand Kelly (Lynsey)Rossman; 12 grandchildren: Aaron and AdamDreaden, Micah and SarahZirkle, Isaac and Evan Taylor, EllaShugart, Sydney, Sierra, Chloe, Jacob, and EthanRossman; sister, Terri (Gary) Thomas and brother, Ross Reeves. Cole is also survived by lifelong special friends, Jerry and Gail Mahoney and John and Carol Starkey.
Cole has loved serving on the Fairmount Historical Museum Board for many years, most recently as president. Cole never hesitated to help with any task and was only a phone call away. He was a talented carpenter and built beautiful furniture for friends and family that will last for years to come. Cole was fun to be around and was always good for a funny story or two. You never knew what he might say! He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel ofArmes-HuntFuneral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana. There will be no services per Coles request.
