"So sorry! Danny was a great person."
Daniel Danny Lee Yeater, age 42 of Fairmount, passed away on May 18, 2016. He was born in Anderson on July 16, 1973, to Curt and Debbie (Reynolds) Yeater, both surviving in Fairmount. Danny graduated from Madison-Grant High School in 1991, where he was on the baseball team. After high school, he went on to graduate from Ivy Tech, studying carpentry. This education was able to help him with his various jobs being a carpenter. Over the years he worked at JGBowers; Turner Construction, building oil refineries in Texas, North Dakota, Wyoming, and Kansas; Fairmount Building; and most recently working for Tony Smock at HRW Construction. Danny will be remembered for always being a handyman, knowing how to build or fix anything and everything. When not working, he enjoyed spending his time with his family and friends, whether it was riding his mountain bikeuntil it broke, cheering on the Indianapolis Colts and Dale Earnhardt Jr., or just having fun with his friends and family. Most of all he was very proud of his son, Jacob Daniel Yeater, who he even coached in little league baseball.
Danny is survived by his parents, Curt and Debbie Yeater, of Fairmount; his son, Jacob Daniel Yeater, of Fairmount; brother, Neal Yeater, of Fairmount; grandfather, John Yeater, of English; aunts, Robin Wilson, of Fairmount and Connie Massaro, of Largo, Fl; uncles, Rodney (Teresa) Yeater, of Marion, and Jeff (Tracy) Yeater , of Gas City; as well as many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ercie Yeater; great-grandparents, Willis and Annie Story.
