Walter D. Julian, 50 of Fairmount died Saturday February 14, 2015 at his residence with his family by his side. Walter was the son of the late Harry E and the late Marjorie P. (Wilson) Julian, and was born October 7, 1964 in Marion, Indiana.
A graduate of Madison-Grant High School Class of 1984 he was a employed in the construction and roofing business. He enjoyed working on cars, tinkering around the house, playing with his grandchildren, bond fires, and doing anything outside with his family and friends. He was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan.
His caregivers included his former wife Barbara with whom he was staying with at the time of his death.
Survivors include two daughters; Amada (Gary) Belcher, and Misty (Chris Watson) Julian, both of Fairmount, IN. 3 sisters; Linda (Mike) Mills, W.VA Grace (Dennis) Hollingsworth, Fairmount, IN Alice (Mark) Savage, Alexandria, IN 5 brothers; Harry E. (Brenda) Julian Jr., Fairmount, IN Everett (Sandy) Julian, Mississippi John and Brian (Joy) Julian, both of Alexandria, IN and Jimmie (Debbie) of Summitville, IN Half-sister; Sherry Ann Rosselot, Florida Half-brother; Jerry Julian, Tennessee
3 Grandchildren; Isizabel Watson, Ciera Belcher, and Christian Watson
He was preceded in death by brother and sister-in-law; Don and Annette Julian, brothers; Billie Michael, and Charles Grayson Julian and sister; Maggie Sue Julian
Funeral Service is at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, Indiana with Joe Shaver officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
Visitation is from 2:00 - 4:00 PM on Wednesday prior to the service.
Memorial contributions are to the family to help with final expenses.
