Connie Ladea (Strong) Nave, age 60, died Monday, December 22, 2014, at her Jonesboro, Indiana residence.
Born on December 18, 1954 in Vancouver, Washington Connie is the daughter of Dean William Strong and Leta Marie (Kurtz) Strong of Gas City. Connie was a 1973 graduate of Rift Valley Academy in Kijabe,Kenya and Marion College in 1980. Connie was a registered nurse at Marion General Hospital for 20 years and taught clinicals at IWU for 7 years. An anctive member of Pioneer Faith Evangelical Church where she taught childrens Sunday School and Kids Club. She married David Nave on August 2, 1986, he survives in Jonesboro.
She is also survived by Daughter: Kristie Nave, New York, NY

Arrangements are being handled by Fairmount Chapel, Armes-Hunt Funeral Home Cremation Services , 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, IN, The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, December 26, 2014. and from 12-2 PM on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Pioneer Faith Evangelical Church, 3805 S. 500 E. Marion, IN 46953 Funeral service will also be at Pioneer Faith Evangelical Church at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 27, 2014. Interment will be at Park Cemetery, Fairmount, IN
Memorial contributions may be made to the family for Stevens College Expenses or to American Cancer Society or Gilead Ministries in care of the funeral home.
