Joseph "Joe" Ashcraft
February 19, 1941 - November 4, 2014

Marion: Joseph "Joe" Ashcraft, 73, died Tuesday morning, November 4, 2014, in Miller's Merry Manor, Hartford City. He was born in Muncie, the son of the late Virgil and Frances (Stotlor) Ashcraft. Joe graduated from Eaton High School in 1959. He married Patricia Little on May 3, 1985, in Golden, Colorado. He was a former member of the UAW # 287, and enjoyed fishing and football. He attended the First Community Church, Matthews. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Patty, Marion; two sons, Dennis (Leah) Kendall, and Doran Kendall; two daughters, Mary (Larry) Pulley and Sharon Kendall (Ron Rima); three brothers, Tim, Jim, and Mark; six grandchildren, Steven Kendall, Doran (Amanda) Kendall, Kay (Derek) Roberts, Brittany (Zach) Bardsley, Bethany (Brian) Miller, and Rodney Kendall; and 14 great grandchildren and another one due in January. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Christy Jones, and two brothers, Phillip and David. Visitation: 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 7, 2014, Jones-Smith Funeral Home, 259 N.
