John M McGraw, 86 of Fairmount, Indiana died on Sunday, June 8, 2014, at Sterling House of Marion, IN
Born Tuesday, February 7, 1928 in Howard County, Indiana, he was the son of the late Gurnie McGraw and the late Zola SmithMcGraw.He was a 1946 Graduate of Union High School of Howard County, IN He marriedMarilyn A. Seeley on June 29, 1952.Marilyn survives in Fairmount.John worked as a plant manager at Fettig Canning Factory for 30 years, CPS Fertilizer Plant in Pt. Isabell,and was a long time Grant County Farmer.He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and playing cards.John and Marilyn enjoyed square dancing and John was also a square dance caller.He was member ofJones Chapel and a former Lions Club member.
Surviving are sons, Brad (Lori) McGraw of Lagrange, IN, Eric (Laurie) McGraw of Jackson, WI and John Alan McGraw of Fairmount, IN, brother, Merritt McGraw of Kokomo, IN, sister, Geraldine Offutt of Greentown, IN.

He was preceded in death by a son, Philip J. McGraw in 2001
A Funeral service will be at11AM on Thursday, June 12, 2014at Armes-Hunt Funeral Home located at 415 S. Main St. Fairmount, Indiana 46928 with the Rev. David Kahkola officiating. Interment will be in Knox Chapel Cemetery,
The family will receive friends from 4-8PM on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at Fairmount Chapel Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to Jones Chapel Church in care of the funeral home.
