Philip Michael Williams of Castroville California passed away on Wednesday February 26, 2014. He was 77. He was born February 15, 1937 in Indiana.Mikes family tree is deeply rooted in Indiana, his branches spread to California where he made his home for over 45 years. An educator and a visionary, Mikes faith, adventurous spirit, humor, and passion for people endeared him to all whose lives he touched - be it for a moment or a lifetime.As husband and father he was supportive, loving, sensitive, sometimes ornery and always precious. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Lita; two daughters, Tamara Dawn and Janna Jo Williams (Anton Tymoshenko); stepson, Jerome Pennington (Mari) and his granddaughter Sophia Rose, and stepson James Pennington. He is also survived by his brother, David Williams, Sister, Carol Impola, and youngest brother, Neil Williams, all of Upland, Indiana.He was preceded in death by his father Reverend Philip J Williams, a Methodist Minister for 65 years and his beloved Mother, Mildred. A celebration of his life will be held on April 26, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at Matthews Epworth United Methodist Church.In lieu of flowers please consider donations to The Josephine Kernes Memorial Pool (15 Portola ave.
