Betty Lee (Henry) Sutton, age 87, of Fairmount, IN, died Sunday, December 15, 2013, at home.

Betty was the daughter of the late Earl H. Henry and the late Wilda (Garner) Henry, born in Vincennes, Indiana on February 18, 1926. She graduated from Fairmount High School in 1944 and married Bill Sutton June 21, 1946. He preceded her in death on January 3, 2007. Betty was employed by the Fairmount License Branch from 1971 to 1988, the last 8 years as the manager. She was the oldest living charter member of the American Legion Post 313, joining in 1946 and past Auxiliary President for many years. She was also a member of the Fairmount Friends Church and enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and flower gardening.

The family would like to extend a speical thanks to Renae Reede and Jessica Lennen from Southern Care Hospice.

She was preceded in death by 2 sons; Mark in 2007 and Richard in 2012.

Arrangements are being handled by Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, IN. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 18, 2013 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home with a Legion Auxiliary Walk Through at 6 PM.

Funeral Service is Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 1 PM with Pastor Dawn Cuthbert officiating. Burial will be at Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children in care of the funeral home.
