Barbara J. Butcher, age 75, of Fairmount, IN, died Friday, April 5, 2013, at Wesleyan Health Care Center in Marion, IN.A mother and grandmother she was able to spend the last few hours of her life with her family.
She was the daughter of the late Lonzo Randol and the late Hazel (Cunningham)Randol.She was born in Summitville, Indiana on July 2, 1937. Barbara worked as a nurses aide for 12 years at University Nursing Center of Upland.Barbara enjoyed playing the piano at Community Chapel Church where she was a member and singing with Naomi at other churches.She enjoyed camping, cooking, shopping and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her life partner, Derrell Enyeart Sr. and five of her siblings.
She is survives byDaughter: Connie (David) Warrum, Pendleton, IN
Sons: Todd (Mindy) Butcher,and Rick (Corina) Butcher, both of Fairmount, IN Two step-sons; Ralph (Angie) Enyeart, Colorado Springs, Colorado and Derrell (Cindy) Enyeart Jr., Lapel, INSister: Naomi Enyeart, Fairmount, INTwo Brothers: Kenny (Dorothy) Randol, Indianapolis, IN and Jack (Bertha) Randol, Special Nephew; Lee Lamb. Eight Grand Children, Nine Great-Grand Children
Funeral service will be Wedneday April 10, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, IN with Rev. Leo Moore officiating. Interment will be at Park Cemetery, Fairmount, INFriends may call at the funeral home Tuesday April 9, 2013 from 5-8 PM
Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Services of Grant County or the American DiabetesAssociation in care of the funeral home.
