ColleenN. Hamilton, age 88 , of Fairnount, IN, died Wednesday,January 2, 2013 at Colonial Oaks Health Care Center. Colleenwasa homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She was employed by Delco Remy Anderson, RCA and the Madison Grant Jr. High Cafeteria during the 70's.She was a former member of Fairmount United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, knitting ,camping,being on the water and traveling to Florida with her family.
She was the daughter of the late Berla Armstrong and the late Ada (Buroker) Armstrong.She was born in Grant County, Indiana on July 29, 1924. She graduated from Swayzee High School in 1942.She married Howard Hamilton on July 3, 1942.He preceded her in death on July 1, 2004 after nearly 62 years of marriage.

Arrangements are being handled by Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, IN where the family will receive friends from 11AM-1PMMonday, January 7, 2013.Funeral service will be immediately following visitationat Armes-Hunt Funeral Home at 1 PM, Monday, January 7, 2013, Dr. Rodney Dennis officiating. Interment will be at Park Cemetery, Fairmount, IN
