"I will miss Ramona so much! I remember as a child she was so glamorous! The big eyes and lips and her hair, and most of all her smile---she was "all that!" Every year when I came back to Fairmount for James Dean Days she would be sitting there in front of the bank in her craft booth and would always have a warm smile and a hug---a welcome home for me--God bless you Ramona and all of the lives you touched! I will gladly carry your big hair tradition for you! Lee Ann"

"Kelly, Eric and family,      You''re mother will be greatly missed in Fairmount. It was a joy to have her as a neighboor for so many years. I hold many memories of her near to my heart. The love and pasion she had doing her crafts...allowing all the kids to play b-ball in the driveway. Knowing that if she had, and someone needed, it was their''s for the taking was only one of the examples of her love and faith in God. In times like this, i know words are only a small comfort, but a bigger comfort comes in knowing one day you will see her again, and she will be just as you remembered her, before the pain and suffering.  Love and prayers. Lewis Suttles"

"Ramona was a highly respected and loved classmate who was always there for anyone in need.  In fact, she called me just before she went in for her surgery as I had just gone through some serious health problems and she wanted to tell me that she was thinking and praying for me and to encourage me.  I am on the mend and I told her that I would be thinking and praying for her during her upcoming surgery and that I would see her at the Museum Days and Fairmount High School Alumni activities in late September.  You could always count on Ramona to take the lead when something needed done.  She will be sorely missed by her family, classmates and numerous friends.   Bob Sheets - Lake Placid, FL"
