Mary A. (Lamb) Cone, age 96, of Fairmount, IN, died Sunday, March 13, 2011, at Wesleyan Health Care Center in Marion, IN. She began working at RCA when it was still Farnsworth. She retired in 1984 after 25 years as an inspector. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge-Marion, Pochahonas Lodge-Marion
Former Rebeccah Lodge and the RCA Sympathy Club.
Enjoyed working puzzle books and was a Chicago Cubs fan.
She was the daughter of the late Cassius Lamb and the late Pearl (Crickmore) Lamb. She was born in Fairmount, Indiana on October 15, 1914. She married Wayne Cone in 1934. He preceded her in death in 1986.
Mary is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
Arrangements are being handled by Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, IN where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 17, 2011. Funeral service will be at Armes-Hunt Funeral Home at 10:00 AM, Friday, March 18, 2011. Interment will be at Park Cemetery, Fairmount, IN
