Darl L. Freel, age 52, of Marion, IN, died Thursday, March 3, 2011, at his Residence. Darl was a fomer custodian at Oak Hill High School and currently stocked shelves at Walmart. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Darl was born on November 7, 1958 in Marion, Indiana to the late Eugene D. Freel and the late Helen M. (Stone) Freel. He graduated from Oak Hill High School in 1978.
He is survived by;

3 Grandchildren; Payton, Bailey and Madison Freel
One Sister:
Diane Sue Reece, Sweetser, IN
Six Brothers:
Charles Eugene Freel, Greentown, IN
Philip LeRoy Freel, Montpelier, IN
Billie Joe Freel, Lake Whales, FL
Samuel Ray Freel, Rock Ledge, FL
Carl Dee Freel, Kissimmee, FL
Michael Allen Freel, Huntington, IN
He was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Terry, John and Thomas Freel and 2 Sisters; Georgeiana Ray Moore and Sharisse Marie Freel.
Arrangements are being handled by Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, IN. Visitation is Monday March 7, from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Funeral service will be at Armes-Hunt Funeral Home at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 8, 2011, Rev. Matthew Trexler officiating. Interment will be at Park Cemetery, Fairmount, IN
Memorial Contributions may be made to Fairmount Youth Basketball League in care of the funeral home.
