Upland: Paul W. Hensley, 59, passed away unexpectedly at 10:08 pm Wednesday evening, March 2, 2011, at Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born in Marion, the son of the late Joseph and Nola (Travis) Hensley. Paul graduated from Eastbrook High School in 1970. He married Pamela Petty on August 23, 1970 at Upland United Methodist Church. She survives in Upland. Mr. Hensley enjoyed camping, motorcycle riding, flea markets, being outdoors, and working on vintage cars, particularly Mustangs. He was a member of the Arcana Masonic Lodge, Upland. He had worked at Weaver Popcorn, Van Buren, for 21 years. He and his wife co-owned the Texaco/Phillips 66 service station from 1974-1988. In addition to his wife, survivors include three sisters, Wanda (Tom) Jones, Montpelier, Marilyn (Kevin) Lavanchy, Montpelier, Rosa (Clyde) Kaemmerer, Piqua, OH; two brothers, Joe (Piper) Hensley, Belize, and Leonard (Peggy) Hensley, Losantville, IN; mother-in-law, Esther Petty-Damme, Marion; sisters-in-law, Marsha (Max) Middlesworth, Marion, and Tina Petty, Spokane, WA; brothers-in-law, Alan (Sally) Petty, Upland, and Tim (Elaine) Petty, Washington D.C.; 27 nieces and nephews; and 32 great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Brent Hensley on June 11, 1987.
