"I knew as a young child that Aunt Virginia was a "lady". I have fond memories of her at Damona's wedding and all the many visits and Detamore reunions. I loved her smile and laughter and was impressed that over the years she still impressed me as a lady of character. I know she will be dearly missed by all her family. May your memories get you through the sadness. Anita Hansen"

"She had a very long life, she saw and did so much. I am so greatful I had the chance to meet her after Brad and I were married. She played the piano for us at her home in Upland... or was it Gas City? It was nice! May she find her family that has gone before her where she is now... You all are in our thoughts and prayers... "Aunt Virginia meant a lot to our family. We all have fond memories of times spent with her and her family. My greatest memory was dinner we ate at her home. She served asparagus spears with real butter. It was the first time I had ever eaten real butter and I never forgot it! She was beautiful, her home was gorgeous and her dinner delicious! I never eat oleo...always butter! All thanks to Aunt Virginia! My mom passed away last summer and she would be heartbroken at Virginia's passing. I hope they are in heaven today laughing and talking about their wonderful lives."

Thank you Sonny for the 24/7 job you handled so well. And thank you Sis for your endless concern and care. Well done Brother and Sister. Love you both very much. Your grateful sister.Lamona"

"My prayers are with you all. Please be comforted knowing she is happy now and at peace. I Am With You Always To those I love and those who love me; When I am gone, release me and let me go. I have so many things to see and do. You mustn't tie your self to me with tears Be happy that we had so many years. I gave you my love, you can only guess How much you gave to me in happiness. I thank you for the love you have shown But not it's time I travel on alone. So grieve awhile for me if grieve you must. Then let your grief be comforted by trust. It's only for a while that we must part, So bless the memories within your heart. I wont' be far away, for life goes on So if you need me, call and I will come. Though you can't see or touch me, I'll be near And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear All of my love around you soft and clear. And then, when you must come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile and "Welcome Home.""
