"Becky and family,     It was a pleasure to come in as a substitute to Park and the Jr. High and be accepted as part of the school family.  Your husband allowed me to make the Jr. High library my own while I was there.  I was sorry to hear of his passing. "

"We were able to attend the funeral.  I doubt that you noticed us among the others who were there.  I knew Dick from the 7th grade and throughout High School.  I spent a night or two at home with Dick as school pals do!  We later worked in the hay fields making a little Summer money.  Dick had a moped and I had a motor scooter that we used to travel to the job sites. After High School we went our separate ways.  I tried to make connections a time or two, but it didn't happen.  If you have a copy of the Argos High School year book for 1963, you can see our photo's.   Janet and I are saddend by the passing of your husband, father, and grandfather.  We send our deepest sympathies.  We were touched by the service for Dick.    "

"Becky and boys~ Mr. Hindman was like a father to me while I worked at Madison-Grant under his leadership.  From the first time I entered his office he was kind, compassionate, and caring.  Whether it was personal or professional he always took time to listen and offer support.  I grew in my teaching abilities and matured as a person by working in his building.  I have great memories of athletic events, collaboration with staff, and student encounters.  I will cherish those memories of my early years in education.  Our family will be praying for you during this time of grief.  May God bless you!"
