Georgia Eileen Fanning

Upland: Georgia Eileen Webb Fanning, 91, passed away at 12:35 p.m. Monday at Marion General Hospital. She was born in Marion the daughter of the late Noah Ellsworth and Lura LaVada (Hollingsworth) Webb. She married Kelley William Fanning on December 29, 1940. He preceded her in death June 23, 2000. Mrs. Fanning was co-owner of Fanning Son Refuse Service and had formerly been employed with Snider Canning Co and Farnsworth Radio Corp, both in Marion. She enjoyed being a homemaker for her family. Survivors include three sons, William, Marion, Kenneth "Bear" (Nancy), Gas City, Kelley Jr. (Frankie), Marion; two daughters, Frances Randolph, Thelma Fanning, both of Marion; a sister, Freda Reynolds, Marion; two grandsons, Mike Randolph, and Daniel Fanning; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by siblings: Evie Bowers, Hazel Aul, Helen Huffman, Myrtle Morgan, Elsie Webb, Betty Glover, Frank, Omer, Bob, James, and John Webb.
