Upland: Ludie G. Pearson, 79, passed away at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the University Nursing Center. She was born in Hackleburg, AL, the daughter of the late James and Effie (Stutts) Hall. She married Robert A. Pearson. He preceded her in death May 30, 1970. Mrs. Pearson enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with family. She moved back to Upland in 1995 from Missouri. Survivors include: sons, Larry (Patty) Pearson, Albany, GA, Jeff (Pam) Pearson, Richmond, Rick (special friend Linda Brown), Upland, Tony Pearson, Syracuse, daughter, Gayla (Stan) Slater, Upland, step-daughter, Sharon Christenson, Upland; sisters, Faye (Avery) Hale, Temecula, CA, Lois (Dickie) Hale, TX; 12 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren; a special friend, Ramie Miller, Upland. A sister, Betty Enze and four brothers, Johnny, Douglas, Jack, and Joe preceded her in death. Service: 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 2010, Jones-Smith Funeral Home, 259 N.
